Do you observe JANGSEM Mondays?:Yes i do... actually for me i consider everyday as a jangsem day..
What do you think about Jangsem Monday movement?I feel it as a very good move. Because in a Buddhist nation like ours killing of animals and eating it as our food habit should not be the culture. Through this initiative it will benefit not only the state but the overall development of all the sentient beings and i could proudly say that it is a symbol of national pride.
Why do you think it's important to go meatless?:To cherish both the life of human being and animals by saving them because i can't take a risk of leaving them to get perish.
Are you a vegetarian or vegan? If yes for how long and why?:
Yes, i am a vegetarian and its been 3 years now...It happened when i was in 10th grade there was a discussion in Dzongkha period about the sin of eating meat and the benefit of not eating it. So i got a clear idea form that day and pledged myself to be a vegetarian.
Has it benefited you and how?:Yes, it not only benefited me but the life of animals too...
What are your Favorite veggies and fruits?:My favourite veggies: fern and broccoli.. *fruits: Mango
Your Favorite animals? Domestic or wild?:
I like all the animals
What do you believe in or should we say your motto in life?:
The reason i dedicated myself to helping animals so much is because there are already so many people dedicated to hurting them. So saving the life of animals is one of my motto.
What is your message to everyone on going meatless?:
I urge everyone to go meatless because this earth was made for all beings not just for human being. When i look into the eyes of an animal i do not see an animal. I see a living being, i see a friend and i feel a soul. So let us take a pledge to ''live and let live".
