Do you observe JANGSEM Mondays?:

What do you think about Jangsem Monday movement?
This is indeed a good start but i hope everyone of us will cut down on meat completely some day.

Why do you think it's important to go meatless?:
By going meatless, we can reduce the impact of climate change, rain forest destruction, and pollution, while saving water and other precious resources. In fact, raising animals for food produces more greenhouse gas emissions than all of the cars, planes, and other forms of transportation combined.

Are you a vegetarian or vegan? If yes for how long and why?:

I am a vegan and its been more than six months now. the first reason is due to my rising affection for animals and secondly due to increasing environmental impacts of consuming meat as mentioned in my above answer to jangsem monday movement.

Has it benefited you and how?:
I feel much much happier and lighter ever since i stopped eating meat.

What are your Favorite veggies and fruits?:
All most all the green veggies, cherry tomatoes, carrots etc........ Among fruits- Avocado, mangoes, papaya and all dry fruits and nuts.

Your Favorite animals? Domestic or wild?:

Snow leopard and pandas

What do you believe in or should we say your motto in life?:

My motto in life is to create awareness among all the illiterate and irresponsible on the benefits of going vegan and the ways we can work together towards conservation of mother nature as a whole.

What is your message to everyone on going meatless?:

Cutting out the meat, even if it’s only every once in a while, means you’ll likely include more beans and lentils in your diet. Nutritionally sound and affordable, these foods should be a regular part of our diets, but many people don’t use them. Beans and rice are a starting point, but think of the soups, chilis, salads, pastas, wraps, and other dishes you could get creative with! The beans will deliver a healthy dose of fibre, have a low glycemic index, and provide a great vegetarian protein source along with other nutrients, including iron.
